I bought mine (new) from Amazon. I don't think Golden Road had a bonus disc, but if it did, it's gone. Yes, this sort of thing and the limited issue of Fillmore 1969 encourage piracy aplenty. The ways of GDP are mysterious and not necessarily wise...

The bonus disc for Golden Road was the two disc "Birth Of The Dead" that was included with the box set. It's an easy mistake to make since it was nicely packaged with a proper case and liner notes. Most of the other "bonus discs" were not packaged at all. Some were thrown into the envelope without any sleeve, just a loose CD.

Correction. My bad. Wasn't the two disc "Grateful Dead Documentary" radio show from KSAN included with Golden Road too? It was done in December 1968 and has people like Quicksilver, Ralph J Gleason & the Airplane sharing stories about the Dead. I got it somewhere but can't remember where. It's very cool. The best part is the band doing a jug band rendition of "The Rub" with different lyrics than the one they usually played.

I would've liked to hear that documentary, if even only once, but it wasn't in my (new) Golden Road box... ):

Lookin for a Chateau, don't worry. Try this show, which though from another time, has its charm:
